IMG are delighted to announce that Tomas Berdych (World no.6) and Tommy Robredo (World no.22) will join Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray, Kei Nishikori and Grigor Dimitrov at this year’s BNP Paribas Tennis Classic to warm up for Wimbledon.
Taking place at The Hurlingham Club, London between 17–20 June, the BNP Paribas Tennis Classic is one of the most intimate tennis events in the social calendar and the perfect warm-up for Wimbledon.
Robredo will be play against reigning Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray on Thursday 19th June. On confirming his place he said: “Playing against Murray at the Hurlingham will be great preparation ahead of the Championships.”
Former Wimbledon Finalist in 2010, Berdych has recently reached the quarter final against Nadal at the Madrid Open and the quarter final against Ernest Gulbis in the French Open.
The ATP players will be joined at the BNP Paribas Tennis Classic by a world-class line-up of tennis legends including: Tim Henman, Goran Ivanisevic, Mark Philippoussis, Pat Cash and crowd pleaser Mansour Bahrami, who will all play throughout the week, with more top current players to be announced.
