Kweichow Moutai Co., LTD. ( “the Company”) was founded on November 20, 1999, with China Kweichow Moutai Distillery (Group) Co., LTD. (“Moutai Group”) being the main initiator and other seven entities being the joint initiators. Currently, its controlling shareholder is Moutai Group.

The Company is based in Maotai Town, a beautiful town harbored along the picturesque Chishui River in northern Guizhou Province. It is engaged in the production and sales of Moutai Baijiu and its series, among which Kweichow Moutai Baijiu stands out as the hero product. It is the originator and indisputable representative of Daqu Moutai-flavor Baijiu in China. It is labeled as green food, organic food as well as national produce marked with geographical indication (GI). Boasting lingering fragrance, it made Chinese Baijiu known by the world.

Since listing, by the end of 2023, the Company has accumulated cash dividends of RMB 232.656 billion. In 2022, the Company achieved a total operating revenue of RMB 127.554 billion, with a net profit amounting RMB 65.375 billion. By the end of 2022, the total assets of the Company were RMB 254.365 billion, with a net asset of RMB 204.965 billion. In 2023, the brand value of Kweichow Moutai reached $87.524 billion, securing its position as the world's most valuable Baijiu brand on the "BrandZ™ Most Valuable Global Brands" list.
